Without a doubt, 2019 will be a major movie year! This year is jam-packed with blockbusters, and from May to July, there will always be something to see! Want a little sneak peek? Check out a trailer! Here are all the 2019 trailers audiences simply cannot get enough of…

Toy Story 4

Release Date: June 20

Buzz, Woody and the rest of the gang are back! And of course, some new friends are also coming along for the ride! Disney released the official trailer for Toy Story 4 with all of the beloved characters. Without a doubt, it’s one of the most anticipated movies of 2019. Adults get to see some of their favorite characters ever back on the big screen. Meanwhile, this new film also introduces the Toy Story franchise to a whole new generation.

In the last Toy Story movie, Andy left for college. And now, the gang has a new toy to take care of: Forky – a spork with googly eyes glued on. The trailer shows Woody and Bo Beep, his long-time love, reunited – and seems like they’ll be going on a whole new adventure.

Release date: May 24

While not everyone loved Tim Burton’s new Dumbo, which came out last week. However, that hasn’t stopped Disney fanatics everywhere from hyping-up the new live-action Aladdin. And, after watching the new trailer for director Guy Richie’s take, we all got a little more excited.

With Will Smith as the genie and two lead actors with Mediterranean origins (after an uproar about casting white actors), the trailer looks magical. There’s the original “A Whole New World” duet, but also some new songs, including one sung by Jasmine. Oh, and it seems the genie will not be blue all of the time – it will be interesting to watch, if nothing else.

Stranger Things (Season 3)

Release date: July 4 (Netflix)

We’ve watched the Stranger Things characters grow up right in front of our eyes – and in season 3, they’re full-blown teenagers. The trailer for the third season looks beautiful. It’s 1985. Summertime. There’s the first shopping mall built in Hawkins, and it seems like the gang hangs out there most of the time, dealing with, well, teenagers’ issues: hormones, first love, first job. We can’t to see what kind of unnatural, stranger things they’ll have to deal with…

Once Upon A Time In Hollywood

Release date: July 26

Of all the 2019 trailers, this might be the most anticipated. After Quentin Tarantino’s last movie, The Hateful Eight (now available on Netflix), almost resulted in his retirement. Thankfully for fans everywhere, the famed director decided to continue his career. Now, four years later, audiences finally got a glimpse of his ninth film, Once Upon A Time In Hollywood.

Starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Brad Pitt as a done-for actor and his stunt double, the movie tells of old-time, hippie Hollywood in the sixties. It looks like a celebration of colors, zoom-ins, dry one-liners, and a whole lot of Quentin Tarantino. We can’t wait!

Release date: May 31 (HBO)

HBO’s violent western show Deadwood, only lasted three seasons between 2004 and 2006. However, that did not stop the show from gaining legions of fans. In fact, the show regularly ends up on “Cancelled Too Soon” lists. Now, after 13 years of waiting, a two-hour, feature film continuation finally has a premiere date! Unfortunately, you’ll need HBO to watch the new movie. Thankfully, you have time before the Deadwood movie (and the new Game of Thrones season) to sign up.

The original cast of the HBO show will reunite in the film, and the plot seems incredible – it’s 1889, and it’s a celebration of South Dakota’s statehood. According to Carolyn Strauss, the film’s producer, it’s a movie about time, about change, and about a town’s adjustment to a new era.

We hope you’ve enjoyed our round of 2019 trailers. Here’s to a great year of film and television blockbusters!
