As a result, almost everyone now spends more time than ever before at home. While working, studying, and hobbies can fill up some of the hours, everyone is looking for innovative ways to pass the hours.

Unfortunately, due to COVID-19 restrictions, nearly all concerts and events have been canceled. Everyone needs to stay at home and keep safe. However, the show must go on. One of the biggest names to perform an online show for coronavirus is Dave Matthews. One of the wealthiest musicians in the world, Matthews played from his humble apartment in Seattle on Thursday. However, that’s just the beginning! Matthews’ concert was only the premiere of Verizon’s new Pay It Forward web series. Earnings from the online concerts will go to a relief fund for small businesses impacted by the Coronavirus restrictions. Each week Verizon will announce a new performer, so stay tuned for who’s next.

At the same time, the company announced it will donate $2.5 million to Local Initiatives Support Corporation from the onset. Meanwhile, in future episodes, audiences will be encouraged to tag and share their local businesses who have been hit hard by the coronavirus. Afterward, Verizon will donate another $2.5 million to businesses from those viewers named!

Looking for something to stream this weekend? Well, you’re in luck! The legendary Elton John will host a virtual, all-star benefit special. The one-hour, commercial-free concert will also feature performances from Billie Eilish, Alicia Keys, Mariah Carey, and Tim McGraw, among many others. The special, entitled The Living Room Concert For America, will air on March 29 from 9-10 p.m. EST, on iHeartMedia radio stations nationwide, as well as on the IHeartRadio app.
