This fantastic show was so addictive because it mixed in the character’s personal lives with their professional ones. But what about what’s going on behind the scenes? 1. Who Are The Creators?
The Good Wife was created by couple Michelle and Robert King, who are also writing partners. The Kings started their TV journey with the show In Justice in 2006, a political drama starring Kyle MacLachlan (Twin Peaks). In Justice ran for only one season on ABC before it was canceled.
Three years later, The Kings pitched CBS their show The Good Wife, and the rest, as they say, is history. Their CBS run was far more successful, and the couple created three series for the network after 2009.
