Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton recently debuted a classic Christmas style. She hosted a Christmas Carol concert in England, appearing quite festive in a red-branded sweater! However, that’s just the start of Middleton’s fantastic Christmas season…
Festive Kate Middleton Wears Red
After releasing her family’s Christmas card, Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton has found even more ways to get into the Christmas season! That’s quite clear in the first trailer for ITV’s Royal Carols: Together at Christmas, a holiday concert special. The concert, set to debut on Christmas Eve, features the Duchess of Cambridge as a host! In the trailer, Middleton appeared wearing a beautiful red sweater, by the brand Miu Miu. She paired the sweater with a white collar, as well as matching white and pale-pink buttons.
“I’m so excited to be hosting Together at Christmas here at Westminster Abbey,” Middleton explains in the trailer. “Through our separation from others, we have been reminded just how powerful human connection is to us all…Just how much we need one another. And how loving and feeling a sense of belonging to one another can provide comfort in tough times. The importance of simply being together.”
Of course, the trailer also shared a few sneak peeks at some of the star-studded musical performances. Just some of the incredible celebs that appeared included Ellie Goulding, Leona Lewis, and Prince William!
Hosting Christmas Carol Concert
For those that don’t know, ITV recorded the concert earlier this month. While host, Middleton wore a very fashionable red coat dress, along with a white bow tie collar and matching buttons down the front. While the dress was made by Catherine Walker, the Duchess wore red shoes by the legendary Gianvito Rossi along with a matching red hand purse. Finally, she tied it all together with a pair of earrings that perfectly matched her sapphire engagement ring.
As previously stated, Prince William joined Middleton for the show. And, as you might imagine, they decided to do a little clothes coordination! William matched Kate’s red-on-red look with a matching red tie! Afterward, the pair posted a picture of their Christmas look on Instagram. “We will be reflecting on the extraordinary challenges we have faced in recent times and celebrating the acts of kindness that we have witnessed across the nation as communities pulled together to help each other and protect those in need,” they captioned the photo. I think we can all agree with that sentiment around the holiday season!
If you would like to watch ITV’s Royal Carols: Together at Christmas and you’re in the United Kingdom, you can catch the special on ITV on Christmas Eve at 7:30 PM. The rest of the world will need to wait until it hits streaming!
