1. Richard Belzer Is The Crossover Master

Richard Belzer is a fantastic actor and comedian. He also holds the key that connects several shows together on various networks in many different genres. Or, at least, his character does.
John Munch, Belzer’s seasoned detective, has appeared in no less than ten shows on five different networks! The character first appeared on Homicide: Life On The Street and then moved on to SVU. Over the years Det. Munch has appeared on Oz (HBO), 30 Rock, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, Arrested Development and The X-Files, to name a few. In doing so, Belzer has surpassed the record held by Kelsey Grammer of playing a character for the longest time and on the most shows.
