Even though it has nothing to do with superheroes, Evans (aka Captain America) is the lead in Bong Joon-ho’s sci-fi thriller, a dark social tale that deals with the haves and the have-nots. In addition to Evans, Octavia Spencer and Tilda Swinton star. So, if you’ve never seen Snowpiercer, now is a perfect time!
The Matrix Trilogy

One of the greatest sci-fi trilogies of all time is coming to Netflix this May! No, we’re not talking about Star Wars or Back to the Future. No, we’re talking about The Matrix trilogy! The first film came out back in 1999 and changed the world forever. In the film, Thomas Anderson (Keanu Reeves), known by the alias Neo, discovers that the world is actually an illusion run by robot overlords. What follows is three films filled with action, adventure, and some of the greatest special effects you’ll ever see! The trilogy is also filled out with some actors including Hugo Weaving, Carrie-Anne Moss, and Laurence Fishburne. So make some time to watch this science-fiction classic!
Nailed It! (Season 3)

Let’s face it, there are just too many cooking shows. However, that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t check out Nailed It! It’s the exact opposite of every other famous cooking show, so think of it as a pallet cleanser. Each episode a bunch of amateurs with little to no baking knowledge attempt, and compete, to create big beautiful cakes. It’s hilarious, it’s fast, and you will binge it. Help yourself to some cake, because you’re going to be seated for a while!

Some of Saturday Night Live‘s funniest ladies are back together once again! This time, they’re telling the story of many fifty-year-olds who experience the infamous midlife crisis. It’s a sensitive issue, as it isn’t dealt with much on screen – which is why Wine Country is so fantastic. It’s funny, it’s touching, and it’s dealing with real issues people are dealing with.

Netflix changed the rules of the game and completely revolutionized storytelling with the excellent Black Mirror. Now, they’re releasing a new series titled What/If – each season has a plot line of its own, and will show what happens if an ordinary person reacts to something in a not-ordinary way; the show will examine our cultural norms and habits. The first season stars Renée Zellweger, Jane Levy, and Blake Jenner. We’re curious to see how it will hold up, following its predecessor Black Mirror.
