Since its discovery, many have tried to excavate the Money Pit on Oak Island. Sadly, few have ever uncovered anything interesting. That all changed, however, when two brothers from Michigan arrived on the small island off the Canadian coast. Growing Up In Michigan

Back in 1965, the Lagina brothers, 11-year-old Rick and 8-year-old Marty, simply enjoyed an ordinary childhood life in Michigan. Just like many other boys their age, they loved stories of adventure and intrigue. Soon enough, the youngsters became obsessed with treasure hunting. They even created treasure hunts for one another in their backyard! And Rick and Marty would never give up on their dreams to become treasure hunters as adults.
As you can imagine, when young Rick picked up his parents’ issue of Reader’s Digest and found an article on the Oak Island treasure, he became immediately intrigued. Fascinated by the historical mystery of Oak Island, the brothers started finding out everything they could about the treasure. As the years, passed, the fire inside Rick and Marty never died…
