This past month, the royal family blessed us with another beautiful wedding. Thousands of people arrived in person, while millions more watched on TV all over the globe.

Princess Eugenie, 28, is the daughter of Prince Andrew and Duchess Sarah, making her the granddaughter of Queen Elizabeth II. Princess Eugenie is ninth in line to the throne, following her sister Princess Beatrice. In addition to her royal duties, Princess Eugenie studied English and Art History at Newcastle University. She’s currently acting as the director at a contemporary art gallery, Hauser and Wirth, in London.

The princess’ now-husband is Jack Brooksbank, 32, a former manager of Mayfair cocktail club Mahiki. The two met on a skiing trip in the Swiss Alps eight years ago. Brooksbank later said, “it was love at first sight.” And their romance just gets better and better: Brooksbank proposed to the princess in January, in front of a volcano overlooking a lake in Nicaragua.

Like all royal weddings, Princess Eugenie and Brooksbank tied the knot in Windsor Castle. The two married on October 12th, a crisp, beautiful fall day. Among the 1,200 guests were a variety of celebrities. David and Victora Beckham, George and Amal Clooney, supermodel Cindy Crawford, and many more scored invites to the wedding. And, just like previous royal brides, many speculated what Princess Eugenie would wear on her wedding day. The bride opted for a silky, beautiful dress designed by British designer Peter Pilotto. Later, for the evening reception, Princes Eugenie switched to a magical Zac Posen-designed silk gown.

The next day, the couple invited some lucky guests to another joyous party. Day Two featured a festival-style event, including a Ferris wheel, rides, and food stalls. There were also live performances, including one by singer Ellie Goulding. Some of the elite guests included Robbie Williams, Kate Moss, and obviously Princess Eugenie’s close family and friends.

It looked like a celebration of love, and we wish the happy couple many years of joy together!
