1. A Country Star Is Born
How does one become country royalty? Well, it all started forty-two years ago. Blake Shelton was born on June 18th, 1976 in the small town of Ada, Oklahoma. However, unlike you might suspect, his family was not exactly musical. Shelton’s father, Richard, was a used car salesman at a local dealership. Meanwhile, his mother, Dorothy, owned one of two beauty salons found in Ada. While his family might not have been musical, we can’t think of a more homegrown, country upbringing.
