Although born in Germany, Gabriel Nagy grew up in Sydney, Australia. His father often needed to work far away from home, so Nagy regularly left school to care for his mother, who suffered from a variety of illnesses. Despite the challenges, Nagy’s family survived. In 1987, as a young adult, Nagy settled down himself, marrying a woman named Pamela. Soon enough, they had a family of their own, with a son, Stephen, and daughter, Jennifer.
