Little Matt Grodsky and Laura Scheel first met at the age of just three-years-old. From the moment they laid eyes on each other, the pair instantly felt drawn to one another. In just a short while, no one could believe the beautiful bond the preschool sweethearts shared – they were an inseparable duo! Grodsky even jumped in front of the preschool class and professed his love for Scheel in front of everyone!
However, unfortunately, life eventually separated the little preschool sweethearts. With hundreds of miles between them, all Grodsky and Scheel had left were bittersweet memories. Until their paths crossed again, more than a decade later, that is. Even then, no one knew that Scheel and Grodsky’s story would become one of the most emotional and inspirational ever…
Just A Couple of Tiny Tots
Back in 1998, Matt Grodsky and Laura Scheel met for the first time in Phoenix, Arizona. The two were three-years-old and attending the same preschool. Almost instantly, the two became close friends. Scheel thought Grodsky was a total “goober,” as he would follow her around all day. “I don’t remember the first time I saw her, but she was always a girl who let me follow her around,” Grodsky recently recalled.
Soon enough, though, Scheel really began to enjoy Grodsky’s company – especially because he could always make her laugh! Every day, Grodsky felt more and more determined to show Scheel just how funny he could be!
