Animals and pets are the biggest blessings in our lives; angels we don’t deserve. So when we see these unexpected animal friendships, it’s double the happiness. Animals prove over and over again they will never judge; they’re just looking for company. If these unexpected animal friendships do not melt your heart, nothing else will.
The White Cat And The Wild Fox
Oldest myth in the world debunked. “Cats and dogs don’t get along.” Even though it’s a different kind of dog (a curious, adorable ginger fox), sure seems like the two are in love. Spotted by fishermen on the shore of Lake Van in Turkey, the pair play, cuddle and even share food. Obviously, it’s rare in the wild, but this proves there’s still hope in this world.
Kasi The Cheetah And Mtani The Labrador
A new study shows baby cheetahs are actually big scaredy-cats. They long for company and need a constant playing and cuddling companion. So Busch Gardens in Tampa, Florida, tried to introduce Mtani the Labrador Retriever to Kasi, the cheetah – since Labradors are loyal and mothering. The experiment turned out to be a success. The pair grew up together; now that Kasi is an adult she is also interested in meeting other cheetahs. However, the pair remains best of friends, and Mtani comforts other baby cheetahs. Can we all let out a big “awwwww” at once?!
Mr. Rabbit And Mr. Deer
Spotted by wildlife photographer Tanja Askani, this fuzzy duo is inseparable. Not much is known of their whereabouts – but once again life proves to be better than art: they’re a real-life Bambi and Thumper! (Minus the terrible movie ending and plus the happily ever after.)
Anjana The Chimpanzee And Tiger Cubs
Anjana is an amazing chimpanzee who helps take care of many orphaned animals. A U.S. animal reserve adopted the rare, adorable tiger cubs after their mother’s cage flooded during a hurricane. Anjana helps the tigers’ caretaker with the cubs; she mothers them, feeds them, and plays with them. This shows love has no boundaries in the animal world!
Bubbles The African Elephant And Bella The Black Labrador
Love has no size! Meet Bubbles and Bella – they are both orphans; Bubbles was rescued from poachers, and Bella was abandoned in the same area. Rescuers saved them at the same time. The duo was transferred to a U.S. safari reserve and now are the BEST of friends, spending time together swimming and playing around!
