Bruce Willis – New York, Estimated $9 Million
Actor Bruce Willis’ most famous character is wise-cracking New York cop John McClane, from the Die Hard series. Perhaps Willis took a page from the Die Hard book, as the German-born, New Jersey-raised actor spends most of his time at his home in Bedford, New York, just one of his celebrity mansions!
The 8,400-square-foot main home sits on extensive grounds, featuring the main house, and then three smaller guesthouses. The central home has five bedrooms, eight baths, a 1,500 bottle, climate controlled wine cellar, and is protected by a state-of-the-art security system. And while Willis is still working as hard as ever, he always has a place to spend his days when he decides to retire.
Robert Redford – Park City, Utah, Estimated $5 Million
In case you didn’t know, actor Robert Redford created the Sundance Film Festival, in Park City, Utah, in 1978. Since then, Sundance has grown into one of the most renowned and famous film festivals in the world. So, of course, Redford owns a home just outside of Park City, at the foot of the incredible mount Timpanogos.
To fit the theme, Redford has purchased Native American artifacts from the 1800s and 1900s to fill the 5,200-square-foot main house. In fact, he has some of the most impressive pieces in the state, including incredibly intact potsherds and arrowheads. Of course, the house is more than a museum. While giving Archetictal Digest a tour, Redford also showed off the home’s multiple guest cottages, five bedrooms, and massive home theater.
