Twins secretly separated at birth seems far-fetched, like something out of a soap opera. Triplets sent to different families sounds even crazier. A plot line so far-fetched, it could only belong in the most melodramatic of stories. Things like that just don’t happen in real life. But sometimes life is even stranger than fiction, and melodrama can be very real. It definitely was for Robert Shafran.

Some people just have a look that seems familiar and reminds you of someone else. It’s just that kind of face. Sometimes the resemblance isn’t substantial, just a similar haircut or nose. Other times the resemblance is uncanny. Some people are more likely to become “that guy” than others.
